The greatest gift you can give yourself
Is to place your ego upon the shelf
Giving in to selfish desire
Merely drives us away from our truest power
Deceit mistrust lies and greed
Are all that results from selfish deeds
So open your eyes and free your mind
From all the joy its left behind
Blinded by those conceited ways
You'll darken your path and leave love betrayed
Give though of your heart altruistically
And love in light shall you then begin to see
To be of service to another one
Is fulfilling and free as the shining sun
So be bold brave and eternally free
And become the change you wish to see!
